Overview

On Sunday December 4th 2005 I exercised a Buy It Now option on ebay for a Billet Manual Steering Shaft for a 1991 Ford Mustang being offered by Dynamic Racing Products of Fort Lauderdale Florida.

After paying with my credit card (THANK GOODNESS) via Paypal, I gave it a couple of days and never heard anything. So on Wednesday December 7th, I emailed Dynamic Racing Products and inquired about a tracking number when the package mailed. Well I was told that there wasn't a tracking number because the item was shipped USPS. I figured ok, I will wait the 5-7 days patiently. Well the 7th day came and went and nothing.

I once again emailed Dynamic Racing Products, and the next day, out of the blue, a tracking number appeared. However, this tracking number only stated that the item was shipped on the 7th, was sent to Jacksonville on December 12, back to Fort Lauderdale on the 14th, back to Jacksonville on the 16, and then back to Fort Lauderdale where the package I guess remains today. (See Below)!

Now I didn't jump to conclusions at the 10 day mark. I figured that good communication would solve the problem. Well again, wrong answer. The only response to my email would come at 2:00am and that would be every other day. Well at the 15 day mark I decided to weigh my options and contacted my credit card company. Believe it or not they were very helpful, and outlined a few different options we could take.

During this whole debacle, Dynamic Racing Product claimed the entire time, that this whole thing was not their fault. That the item was "shipped" to the correct address. Well after 4 different post office employees in 4 different locations assured me this was in no way possible, I became quite skeptical.

I then asked Dynamic Racing Products since 15 days had passed and the chances of me getting the item were slim to none if they could ship me one out, and if by some act of God the first one showed up, I would return it.

Their response? Of course they would, if I were to ship out another $132.40. Well lets see, I have sent you $132.40 and have yet to receive anything, what kind of man, or should I say idiot, would send another $132.40?

So this is where we stand today, Dynamic Racing Products says that they will refund my money when the product returns to them? But who knows that the product ever will? Who knows if the product was ever shipped? Could have been an empty box for all I know, remember I never got anything!!!!!

So until I receive my $132.40, I will make it my job to let everyone know of the lack of service, the wrong doing, and the shadiness that has occurred!!!

 Everything mentioned above is factual and is my side of the story, if Dynamic Racing Products would like to submit their side, I will be happy to post it! However, I doubt they will.

I have in no way attempted to slander, ridicule, or belittle Dynamic Racing Products or their employees, I am only seeking restitution in the amount of $132.40.

Click here to see all of their 11.000 feedback which is very impressive I must say. However, the thing that seems peculiar is that fact that the 200-300 negative feedback seems to be for almost identical reasons that I have stated above? Also lots of neutral and withdrawn feedback?

UPDATE: Total shipping time 17 days, total distance from Jacksonville to Plantation FL 326 miles. Total miles this package traveled over the 17 days due to the fact that the 4 lb steering shaft was placed in a cardboard envelope and was completely obliterated by the time it reached Jacksonville for the 4th time, 1956 MILES!!!!
