The build-up on this project cannot be classified
under previous definations due to the sole fact that we
are just bolting on some parts. Earlier projects including
Grey Ghost and Silverfox were ground up projects that
deserve and warrant the names given to them.
This 12 second street car will be nothing
more than a slightly modified daily driver with some stickies
on the back and a very extreme tune! I will start this
month (August) with the bolt-ons. And will follow in coming
months with parts as I get them. This project will be
built in between the Grey Ghost getting to the track,
Silverfox getting a block, and a couple of other little
ideas that we have come up with.
As you will see by the pictures, this was
a diamond in the rough to say the least, with only a 104,000
miles on the ticker, this motor has some life left in
her! We have to get the tranny rebuilt, due to the fact
that 3rd gear is almost inoperable. But that will come
right before the exhaust overhaul, I am currently working
on getting some discounted headers, and fabricating a
long tube H-pipe to make it fit!
