The chassis so far has seen minor modifications,
your typical bolt on and weld ons of course. The car was
taken to Speedcraft 5 years ago for subframe connectors,
and has only seen a series of rear control arms swapped
in and out over the years.
Once the supercharger is in, (and the yellow
project is nearing completion) the grey car will be taken
to Performance
Chassis in St. Mary's Georgia for a roll cage. Although
the cage specifics have yet to be determined, it will
probably be set up similar to the SilverFox Car.
The car has been lowered using specific
springs, which I kind of regret now with the skinnies
on the front. We have noticed some bottoming out lately
on very small grades, so I guess the drop in front from
a 16" rim to a 15" rim has made a world of difference.
Other than the roll cage, the chassis will
remain pretty much intact as is, we want the car to be
as safe as possible, yet not limit the drivability.
