These next couple of pages will tell the
story of the engine assembly and all things related to
the tedious tasks of putting a street/strip 331 motor
together. What started off as a simple project has ended
up being a multitude of varying changes and compromises!
Although Scott has never sacrificed quality, his first
choice has many times not been the final one.
Again, special thanks to all the guys at
Mustang Motorsports
for all there help with the motor and the upcoming help
with the chassis. The Silverfox will be making a trip
to Georgia in the next couple of months for the cage install
at Performance Chassis. "Silverfox" will be
accompanied by the "Grey Ghost" who by then
will be wearing a Novi 1000 coupled with a Nitrous Express
wet kit.
Things are starting to get interesting as
spring has hit the great state of Florida! Stay tuned
and check by for more updates on the happenings of Westside
Mustang!
Update:Well
Project SilverFox made it to the shop on the Week of May
1st. Already had major setbacks with the flywheel bolts
being stripped. Other than that the motor should be in
by the 2nd. Gainesville is still in the back of everyone's
mind, and multi-tasking has taken on new meaning. While
Sean, Scott, and some other undisclosed members of the
Mustang Motorsports team works on Project Silverfox at
the shop, I am at home trying to button up the Grey Ghost
and get Project Yellow Fury running.
