Summer Solstice

This is a 1990 Mustang GT that we picked up in mid April from a friend that lives in Jacksonville Florida. The car had been sitting for some time, so a lot of prep work will be definitely be needed.

So far we have rounded up a motor for the car, thanks Jeff, have nailed down the valvetrain, have plans in for a transmission, and some ideas about where we are headed on the suspension/chassis work.

The car is actually in good shape overall, with a few dings on the driver side quarter panel from some over-anxious little ones. Other than that, a cobra rear bumper cover and we are off to the paint shop!

Since the Silverfox was a little more than expected for street driving, this car will serve as the daily driver as the Silverfox is taken to a more extreme level. Unfortunately, project Blue Bomber will take a back burner or even be postponed indefinately until further plans are made.

For now this will be the only project going, as the Grey Ghost is currently without a powerplant, and nothing new is planned as of this writing. She will probably get a new motor/tranny combo early next year, but as for now, other ventures have us sidetracked!

Stay tuned as this beast is unleashed. Although a definite street car, she will definitely not go quiet into the night!
